It offers approximately 15-20% coverage for performing functional management duties. For the remaining coverage, the candidate will continue performing his/her current direct program role. Candidate must be able to retain his/her current program role upon assumption of this management position.\nThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate sustainable top performance, a commitment to ethics and integrity, skill with people and communications, and the ability to innovate. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.\nThis position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.\nIn this job, you will:\nProviding the people, processes and tools to meet the current and future needs of the programs and technologies within the portfolio\nSupervising, mentoring, overseeing assignments, and supporting career development of employees in the Engineering Technician role\nProviding functional oversight across multiple supported programs, including bid and proposal inputs for future work, independent technical reviews of major programs and R&D projects as well as organizational budget management\nEstablishing and maintaining discipline-specific processes and tools\nFacilitating process improvement initiatives including the implementation and monitoring of metrics and best practices.\nCandidate must currently have and be able to maintain a full-time technical program role in addition to the management duties of this position.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience - OR - Master’s degree with 3 years of professional experience. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
