This position will be a collateral duty along with the selected candidate’s other assignments.\nReporting directly to the LCS Sustainment IPT lead, the selected candidate will be responsible for daily leadership and supervision of NON-Exempt Northrop Grumman (NG) employees as well as supervising various subcontractor employees assigned to the MMRC Mayport site supporting the operations of the Mission Package Support Facility (MPSF). A key component of this position will include interfacing with customer counterparts, leadership personnel at other sites, and related worldwide entities.\nThis position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.\nWhat You’ll get to Do:\nLead and develop a team of non-exempt employees at the MPSF, ensuring clear work direction, performance feedback, recognition, and timekeeping oversight.\nSupervise and coordinate onsite subcontractor activities, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, schedule, and contractual requirements.\nPlan and prioritize work to meet contract milestones, ship availability windows, and customer schedules.\nSet clear expectations, hold team members accountable, and provide timely coaching and feedback.\nCommunicate effectively in both verbal and written formats, including preparing clear presentations that convey initiatives, plans, and expectations to diverse audiences.\nEnsure compliance with all safety, quality, and security requirements applicable to LCS Mission Package work at MMRC Mayport.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and site leadership, consistently demonstrating a commitment to customer service.\nChampion Northrop Grumman’s Code of Ethics and core values to foster a culture of safety, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.\nProvide guidance on business processes, best practices, and work standards, and ensure accurate, complete documentation of work performed.\nDevelop, track, and report weekly and monthly performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.\nCollaborate with other departments and sites to ensure broader program needs are understood, communicated, and supported.\nMentor and coach less experienced team members to build bench strength and support their professional growth.\nWork in an industrial/shipyard environment (climb ladders, work in confined spaces, wear PPE) as needed to oversee on-site work.\nRepresent the MPSF and LCS Mission Package program professionally with customers and leadership, anticipating roadblocks and advocating for a safe, high performance work environment.\nEscalate issues appropriately and represent the team with senior leadership and the customer.\nWork flexible and changing shift schedules, including day, night, and weekend shifts as needed in support of LCS operations.\nSteadfastly push self and others to achieve deliverables and goals, provide customer overviews, and be an advocate for a safe and professional work environment.\nEffectively communicate in diverse circumstances and anticipate roadblocks in an environment that provides challenging assignments to key talent in the organization.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience; OR an additional 4 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.\nDemonstrated familiarity with LCS Mission Package operations.\nProven leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nAbility to effectively communicate with various levels of leadership.\nMust have proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).\nMust be available to work any shift.\nMust be willing to travel 10 - 25%.\nU.S. citizenship and an active/current U.S. Government Secret clearance are required. Must have ability to obtain/maintain LCS Program Access.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n5 years of previous leadership or supervisory experience in a government maintenance or operations/assembly environment.\nPrevious experience managing suppliers.\nDemonstrated history leading and management of multi-functional teams.\nPractical working knowledge of LCS Class program.\nFamiliarity with electronic work instructions, safety policies and quality procedures.\nProven experience planning and executing preventative and corrective maintenance availability activities on U.S. Navy ships.\nPractical experience in Navy maintenance to include Ship’s Maintenance and Material Management (3M), Preventive Maintenance, and Corrective Maintenance specifically SKED and MFOM AWN respectively.\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $142,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
