Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking an Manager Quality Engineering - Level 2 to join our team in Promontory, UT.\nThe Manager Quality Engineering will manage a team of PQE (Procurement Quality Engineers) within the Supply Chain Quality Organization setting & operating to objectives & providing guidance, training and support based on supply chain quality goals, objectives & company policy.\nThis position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.\nIn this job, you will:\nProvide mentoring, career development and guidance to staff helping them reach their potential\n\nCoordinating and collaborating with programs to ensure supplier quality team is engaged with program.\n\nCollaborate with supply chain organization to develop and maintain strategic quality initiatives for the supply base ensure greater quality success\n\nWork on problem solving and failure investigations to drive process control and first time quality\n\nDrive timely and clearly communicated decisions and recommendations to all stake holders\n\nAct as primary interface between NG and suppliers for supplier related quality initiatives and improvements\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nThis position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience - OR - Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience with Aerospace and Defense.\n\nMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance\n\nMust have 5+ years of experience in a leadership role.\n\nExperience in Quality or Mission Assurance.\n\nExperience with Supply Chain Quality.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nSTEM degree\n\n5+ years’ experience in quality or mission assurance position\n\nKnowledge of MRP systems\n\nKnowledge of configuration management systems and processes\n\nAs a leader with integrity, you ensure ethical conduct, balanced results, and partner satisfaction. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
