Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Space Systems is currently seeking a Process Manufacturing Engineer to support our Rocket Motor Case Prep Process Engineering team at our Promontory, Utah Plant.\nRole Description & Responsibilities:\nDeveloping and improving manufacturing processes\nSpending time in the operations area observing and monitoring rocket motor case prep processes\nPerforming cause and corrective action activities to permanently eliminate defects using root cause analysis tools\nWorking with concurrent engineering teams to ensure proper documentation and on-time production\nAuthoring, updating and reviewing shop floor work instructions\nPreparing and presenting technical presentations to technical teams, leadership, and to customers for review and approval\nPerforming table top reviews\nUsing SPC tools to ensure process control\nDeveloping and incorporating process improvements\nTroubleshooting production/tooling/facility issues and implementing improvements and solutions\nSupporting design, checkout, qualification and implementation of new or modified tooling or equipment\nAccurately documenting and scoring Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) worksheets\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree STEM with 2 years of professional experience - OR - Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience. \nSelf-Starter that takes initiative to complete tasks and assignments with little supervision\nMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.\nGood problem-solving skills and strong oral and written communication skills\nGood organization and multi-tasking skills\nInterpreting blueprints and specifications\nExcellent computer skills. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
