We look for people who have bold new ideas, courage and a pioneering spirit to join forces to invent the future and have fun along the way.\nNorthrop Grumman is looking for a Semiconductor Fab Technician for their Semiconductor Fab located in Manhattan Beach, CA.\nResponsibilities:\nOperate, monitor, and maintain semiconductor processing equipment (e.g., photolithography, etch, deposition, metrology, packaging).\nLoad/unload wafers and ensure proper documentation and handling.\nPerform routine equipment startups, shutdowns, and calibrations.\nAssist in troubleshooting and recovering process deviations or equipment issues.\nFollow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.\nAccurately record data and maintain production logs and reports.\nCollaborate with engineers and other technicians to support process improvement initiatives.\nMaintain cleanliness and safety standards within the cleanroom environment.\nBasic Qualifications for Semiconductor Fab Technician:\nHigh school diploma or GED and a minimum 1 year experience as a semiconductor technician.\nComputer & communication skills (Microsoft Office)\nU.S. Citizenship required.\nAbility to work in a cleanroom (gowning required) and handle small, delicate components.\nExcellent communication skills and a strong team-oriented attitude.\nMay require standing for long periods, lifting to 25 lbs, and working in shifts, including nights or weekends\nPreferred Qualifications for Semiconductor Fab Technician:\nExperience in FOD controlled lab environment\nFamiliarity with shop order or manufacturing execution systems (MES)\nAssociate degree or technical training in Electronics, or related field. - Experience with legacy semiconductor tools, including both wet and dry processes.\nExposure to low-volume, high-mix R&D or prototyping environments.\nBasic understanding of process flows across front-end and back-end semiconductor fabrication.\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $47,200.00 - $78,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
