This position is expected to be based in Ogden, UT and supports the ICBM Sustainment Team.\nNote: This role supports a 24/7 Network Operations Center with a primarily set schedule. However, candidates must be willing to support alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and on call coverage as needed to ensure continuous operations.\nWhat you’ll get to do:\nEnsure secure and reliable operation of a network from a Network Operations Center\nProvide excellent support for remote users and support personnel in the field.\nMaintain smooth operation of computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and cyber engineers.\nEnsures the software and network hardware in the NOC are up-to-date and properly secure, including Windows and Linux computers in a mixed environment, as well as secure connectivity with remote locations\nAdminister a variety of Windows and Linux servers and endpoints.\nCreate and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and security access lists.\nRecommend and implement system enhancements to improve performance and reliability of systems, including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.\nManage and monitor Cisco Networking equipment to ensure secure, consistent operation\nUtilize SolarWinds and other network management software to ensure reliable and secure network operations.\nManage queue in ticketing system to track and report issues and tasks with the network.\nMaintain knowledge of current and emerging Industry and DoD trends and technologies in network frameworks, management and analytics and ensure proper utilization where applicable.\nUtilize Command line scripting (CLI, PowerShell, etc.) to automate tasks and reduce repetitive workload.\nWork with Cybersecurity Lead to drive the end-to-end RMF process, produce System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Plans (SAPs), and POA&Ms.\nWorks under minimal direction and independently determines and develops approach to solutions.\nBasic Qualifications:\n2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree; 0 years of experience with a Master’s Degree; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.\nMust possess or be able to obtain a DoD 8140 Certification for IAT Level II (Sec+, CySA+, CCNA-Security, CND) or higher within six (6) months of starting.\nMust possess or be able to obtain technical certifications (ex. Network+, CCNA, Server+, CySA+) within six (6) months of starting.\nMust be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nActive DoD Secret clearance.\nExperience in administering Windows and Linux operating systems.\nUnderstanding of networking tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Management tools, and Juniper firewall.\nExperience with or understanding network automation scripting using Ansible, Python, Bash, and Shell.\nManage and prioritize workflow using ticket management system.\nExperience working in a 24/7 Operations Center.\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
