This position will be located in Clearfield, Utah.\nIn this role, you will monitor mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of program. You will assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers. You will collaborate closely with the Quality team to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.\nThis role may be filled as a Principal Engineer Quality or a Sr. Principal Engineer Quality\nResponsibilities include:\nThe candidate should possess strong technical problem solving, written and verbal communication skills, perform technical assessments and participate in CCB (Change Control Board) and data review activities. \nThe candidate is expected to regularly interface with operations, programming, engineering staff and external customers. \nResponsible for failure investigations, Customer CARs, escapements, and data analytics to drive corrective actions. Communicate with customers, within the required time frame, on investigations and actions for each complaint/escapement. \nDevelop and implement program quality inspection plans \nPreparation of first article inspections packages for internal approval or presentation to the final customer. \nAssess and mitigate risks related to customer quality requirements, contract review, and assist Quality Engineering work when reviewing new contracts. \nProvides qualified Quality Assurance engineering support to all Program organizations (e.g., Operations, Production Control, Design Engineering, etc.) with daily interactions, as required \nLeads and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are developed and maintained \nAble to effectively communicate solutions, ideas, and concepts to a diverse audience \nWorking knowledge of Material Review Board (MRB) standards, practices, and Customer engagement \nInterface with manufacturing, engineering, program management, and subcontractor representatives to resolve issues and non-conformances. \nSpecial Projects to support Mission Assurance Priorities and goals as assigned \nBasic Qualifications:\nPrincipal Engineer Quality (Level 3)\n\nBachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of Quality Engineering and/or Mission Assurance Work experience; OR a master’s degree with 3+ years of Quality Engineering and/or Mission Assurance Work experience. \nKnowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action methods \nKnowledge of Inspection Plans and First Article Inspections \nKnowledge of Quality Management Systems (AS9100, ISO 9001, or Military Quality Assurance) \nDemonstrated ability prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines with attention to detail. \nExperience with M.S. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint \n\nSr. Principal Engineer Quality (Level 4)\nBachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of Quality Engineering and/or Mission Assurance Work experience; OR a master’s degree with 6+ years or Quality Engineering and/or Mission Assurance Work experience. \nKnowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action methods \nKnowledge of Inspection Plans and First Article Inspections \nKnowledge of Quality Management Systems (AS9100, ISO 9001, or Military Quality Assurance) \nDemonstrated ability prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines with attention to detail. \nExperience with M.S.
