We are looking for people who are self-motivated, hardworking, and have demonstrated the ability to find innovative solutions to complex technical problems.\nEssential Functions:\nDevelop and run a data architecture plan that supports business goals and objectives\nBuild and maintain data models and metadata standards to facilitate data integration and analysis\nWork with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and develop solutions to meet those requirements\nWork across technical teams and product owners to provide an architectural recommendation\nLead a technical and technology assessment initiative to develop and deliver a recommendation for digitizing core business functions\nUnderstand the current business processes, systems and their functions to be able to develop a recommendations for the digital ecosystem\nEnsure that data storage and retrieval solutions are in line with business requirements.\nExcellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skill\nCollaboration and problem-solving skills\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field with at least 5 years of experience OR Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field with at least 3 years of experience\n\nExperience with data architecture, data models, physical database designs, data integration strategy and design for operational systems, systems integration, and analytical systems\n\nExperience with SQL Server and proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.)\n\nKnowledge of data governance best practices, data quality standards, and data security protocols\n\nYour ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in a STEM field with 7 years of relevant experience.\n\n5 years of experience working with ETL techniques and frameworks.\n\nExpert in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools.\n\nExperience with NoSQL Databases (e.g., MongoDB, Neo4J, etc.)\n\nDevelopment experience utilizing Hadoop, Spark, PowerShell, and automation scripts.\n\nExperience with data platform technologies (e.g., Palantir, Databricks, etc.).\n\nExperience with Data Virtualization, Warehousing, Cataloging, and Orchestration tools (e.g. Denodo, Collibra, Airflow, DataHub, etc.)\n\nExperience with UI/UX design and development / Graphic Design\n\nTop Secret clearance\n\nCompTIA Security+ Certification or Equivalent 8570 Certification\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
