This position will occasionally support the Bacchus, Clearfield, and Promontory Promontory locations. Candidate must be willing to travel to all 4 campuses and be on site. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.\nRole Description & Responsibilities: \nAs a Maintenance Reliability Engineer, you will specialize in various types of automated electrical/mechanical components and manufacturing equipment/facilities. \nReview existing manufacturing equipment and become completely familiar with the OEM’s manufacturing build protocol as it relates to machine function. \nProvide emphasis to ensure that the correct preventative maintenance procedures are in place as it relates to the electrical and mechanical systems and recommend all critical spare parts to keep the plant operational on a 24/7 basis. \nDevelop and implement machine monitoring strategies to support the reliability centered maintenance program to predict machine failures before they happen using vibration, temperature, and other variable analysis. \nPrepare presentations and reports detailing the Operational Equipment Effectiveness on assets you support. \nAid in developing standard specifications for future equipment purchases. \nThis position works to ensure that all manufacturing equipment performs at their ultimate performance level and maintain a high level of machine uptime. There is considerable latitude for independent action and decision making. You will support our current facility and allow it to grow to the next level of operations and production.\nSkills and Qualifications: \nMust have good oral and written communication skills.\nMust have excellent conflict resolution and negotiating skills.\nAbility to manage time and multi-task.\nAbility to solve problems.\nAbility to perform Root Cause Corrective Action.\nAbility to perform FMEA analysis.\nAbility to develop maintenance strategies.\nAbility to work independently and use judgment to make appropriate decisions that support overall project objectives.\nAbility to drive projects and processes.\nAbility to partner with leadership at all levels.\nAbility to troubleshoot problems and resolve issues is a short time frame.\nAbility to analyze data.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, reliability engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering discipline or Statistics and 5 years experience or 3 years experience with Master's degree.\nMinimum of 2 years’ experience with manufacturing processes, equipment, or manufacturing facilities support/maintenance.\nBasic understanding of manufacturing equipment.\nProficient in Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, PowerBI.\nU.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance with capability for SAP access.\nAbility to negotiate and consult with vendors as required to maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience as a Reliability Engineer in a manufacturing environment.\nUnderstanding of reliability concepts (i.e., MTTR, MTBF, probability of failure, condition monitoring, etc.)\nExperience with CMMS/EAM and equipment failure data analysis.\nExperience with Ignition, Canary, or other Industrial IoT technology.\nUnderstanding of CAPEX engineering projects or equipment installation.\nExperience with equipment and control systems including Allen Bradley, FANUC, and Siemens.\nExperience in installing, commissioning, supporting or maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment.\nA current DoD Secret/Top Secret clearance with capability for SAP access.\nExperience working in a manufacturing operation.\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
