At Northrop Grumman, you will have the resources, support, and team to do some of the best work of your career.\nThe Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking a Principal Networks Communications administrator to support information system lifecycle activities.\nThe selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Baltimore, MD location. This is not a remote/virtual position.\nThe responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:\nMaintains smooth operation of classified network.\nPlans, designs, configures, and installs network hardware in support of customer requirements.\nMaintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, switches, gateways, etc.\nProposes solutions to management to ensure all communications requirements based on future needs and current usage, configuring such solutions to optimize cost savings.\nCreates and ensures that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions.\nProvides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems.\nPerform troubleshooting analysis of network infrastructure and associated systems. \nInstall and configure Cisco routers, switches and firewalls.\nImplement and troubleshoot LAN technologies such as VLANs, Trunking (port tagging), Spanning-Tree, and Port Security.\nProvide third-level support and troubleshooting of network problems.\nAble to design and implement an enterprise network. Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, PowerPoint and Excel.\nAbility to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds \nAbility to work after hours, and weekends, as needed \nNote: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Come join us!\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $98,900.00 - $148,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
