Position Overview:

The C2BMC program is a key component of the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that allows leadership to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, monitor the battle, and dynamically control networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports layered missile defense capabilities across all ranges and flight phases, serving as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations-both globally and regionally. It is essential for all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate current and future missile defense capabilities.

Within this mission, the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (RA ART) of the C2BMC National Team (C2BMC NT) delivers critical software capabilities across multiple product teams and development sites. We are seeking a SW CI/CD Engineer to drive standardization, automation, and security across our software delivery pipelines, enabling rapid, reliable, and secure delivery of capabilities to the warfighter.

Essential Functions:

  • Design, implement, and maintain a standardized CI/CD pipeline for use by all Product Teams within the RA ART, ensuring consistency, reliability, and scalability across multiple software releases and build versions
  • Work across the RA ART and closely with the Cyber and Platforms ARTs to ensure that CI/CD tools, integrations, and configurations meet security, compliance, and performance requirements
  • Integrate and manage core DevSecOps tools (e.g., Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence) to support automated build, test, integration, and deployment workflows in classified environments
  • Implement and support Linux-based system administration and system security controls required for CI/CD infrastructure, including hardening, patching, and compliance with program security requirements
  • Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate configuration, provisioning, deployment, and monitoring of CI/CD infrastructure and applications
  • Administer and manage Security-Enhanced (SE) Linux and Red Hat repositories to support secure software builds and deployments
  • Collaborate closely with system administrators, IT, and security personnel to troubleshoot issues, resolve integration challenges, and continuously improve pipeline performance and reliability
  • Present regular, clear status updates on pipeline health, tool performance, ongoing work, risks, and issue resolution to RA leadership and other stakeholders
  • Support Agile development practices within the RA ART, participating in relevant Agile ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement of CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
