This position is required full-time, in-office. This is not a role for operating pre-built tools; this is an opportunity to architect and build the core data logic of our systems. You will be responsible for creating custom, high-performance statistics and machine learning tools from the ground up, making meaning of complex data sets. Active In Scope Top Secret Clearance required to start.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree or higher, in Data Science or related discipline.\n\n7 years of experience in software development.\n\nExperience with C/C++.\n\nExperience with machine learning pipelines and data science workflows.\n\nFamiliarity with SQL Alchemy, Numpy, Pandas, SKLearn, PyTorch.\n\nAbility to troubleshoot and optimize complex data queries and workflows.\n\nFamiliarity with big data concepts, machine learning pipelines, and MLOps.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize across the entire data stack.\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $108,200.00 - $162,400.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $135,000.00 - $202,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
