This position has NO Hybrid or Remote work available.\nThe selected Engineer must possess in-depth knowledge of computers and electronics for mission processing, displays data storage, Networks, CDS/MLS, Crypto and experience in the definition, design, integration, test, and certification of related hardware and software requirements. and will be responsible for one or more of the following; Interpret, allocate, tailor, write and flow down requirements to all levels of a system architecture, Design and develop computer, network and system models and architectures, perform hardware integration and testing, and requirements analysis and collaborate with Integrated Product Teams and conduct Trade studies, documenting subsystem architectures, analyzing performance, and evaluating Technology Readiness Level (TRL) regarding supplier current and future products offerings,\n**This position can be filled at either a Principal Electronics Engineer level or a Sr. Principal Electronics level, depending upon the qualifications below. **\nJob Responsibilities:\nDocument designs using detailed schematics, diagrams and specifications\n\nCollaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate mission management subsystems to meet platform mission objectives\n\nTechnical management of program strategic partners and suppliers, including development, acquisition, acceptance, qualification, system integration and test support\n\nDeveloping supplier documentation, performance-based specifications, and statements of work\n\nBuilding supplier evaluation criteria and experience in conducting technical evaluations, documenting results and selection\n\nReview documents from the supplier’s development effort and support supplier technical interchange meetings and design reviews\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nPrincipal: Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering, or Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and3 years of related professional/military experience.\n\nSr. Principal: Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering, or Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and6 years of related professional/military experience\n\nExperience developing model-based systems engineering products and/or Mission Engineering in Cameo or similar tools\n\nExperience with developing supplier documentation, performance-based specifications, and statements of work\n\nExperience with Mission Processing, Network and Communication design, development and test methodologies and practices\n\nMust have an active US Government Secret Clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) and any program access required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain US Government Top Secret clearance\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with network, commercial cloud, platform infrastructures and containerized software architecture\n\nFamiliarity with Digital Engineering processes and environments\n\nKnowledge of system engineering design methods, including requirements analysis and flow-down, specification derivation and interface control documentation\n\nDemonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a close team environment\n\nExperience engaging directly with internal and external technical and programmatic representatives\n\nDemonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills\n\nDemonstrated ability to assimilate new concepts quickly and independently and work in a self-directed manner\n\nExperience in model-based systems engineering using Cameo or similar SysML tools\n\nFamiliarity with Atlassian collaboration tool set (Jira and Confluence)\n\nExperience AND/OR Certification with cloud and container management & security technologies such as VMWare, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Redhat OpenShift, Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Nomad.\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
