Responsibilities include conducting research, writing requirements, developing models, defining interfaces and performing analysis while working within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) structure to drive the development of new program requirements, refine existing program requirements, and influence the pursuit of future technologies and capabilities.\nThe selected candidate will collaborate across the engineering disciplines and technology areas to integrate and communicate technical capabilities and analyses with internal stakeholders and external customers across multiple simultaneous Modernization and Sustainment efforts.\nJob Responsibilities:\nDevelop MBSE artifacts using Cameo\nPerform requirements development, allocation, verification/validation planning and manage interface definition efforts.\nWrite complex specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports.\nSupport interface/communication with program, functional and subsystem leads. \nMaintain Systems Engineering artifacts following proper configuration management procedures.\nCoordinate with key stakeholders to ensure proper verification and validation of Systems Engineering artifacts\nPossess strong interpersonal and leadership skills with excellent communications skills to support coordination across IPTs and with external customers.\nSolicit input from various stakeholders and team members to synthesize data and communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline AND 5 years of related professional/military experience in Systems Engineering, OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline AND 3 Years of related professional/military experience in Systems Engineering, OR a PhD in a STEM discipline AND in a STEM discipline AND 1 Year of related professional/military experience in Systems Engineering\nAbility to obtain a DOD Secret clearance\nAbility to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.\nExperience interpreting, deriving, allocating, or managing technical requirements \nExperience with Python or other scripting language\nExperience with DOORS\nExperience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with military aircraft or weapon system design and/or operation to include requirements verification and certification.\nExperience with requirement decomposition and traceability from System to Unit/Supplier Specifications\nExperience with Cameo\nExperience with software development\nExperience with HW/SW integration testing\nExperience with Agile execution\nExperience with managing suppliers with technical requirements and verification expectations\nExperience with DOORS DXL and DOORS administration\nExperience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment software development for Aircraft Sustainment efforts\nActive DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance\nActive/current SAP clearance (any SAP)\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $93,300.00 - $171,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
