This is a full time onsite position that offers the 9/80 Schedule.\nWhat You'll Get to Do\nThe Airborne Multifunction Sensors (AMS) Engineering & Sciences organization is seeking Principal/Sr. Principal Electronics Engineers to join the Product Test Support team.\nThis role requires a blend of Hardware and Software skills, experience with DC, Analog, Digital or RF test & measurement equipment, and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting complex electronic systems.\nRoles and Responsibilities include:\nUnderstanding design to cost, scope, and schedule\nRequirements definition\nDesign of flexible Hardware & Software test solutions together with a team of experts\nManufacturing support during the hardware build process\nIntegration of Hardware & Software into a functioning system\nCertification with the Quality organization\nSystem deployment and factory support\nSoftware maintenance and / or Hardware refresh initiatives\n**This role is contingent upon the ability to obtain an Interim US Government Secret Clearance prior to start.\n**This role are contingent upon Program Award\nThis role may be filled at either the Principal or Senior Principal level.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications Principal Electronics Engineer:\nBachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of related experience - OR - Master's degree in STEM with 3 years of related experience -OR- a Ph.D. degree in STEM with 0 years of experience. \nAn additional 4 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nA mix of hardware and software skills\nExperience in text-based programming languages (e.g. C /C++)\nBackground and working knowledge in RF, digital or power theory and concepts\nExperience with test & measurement equipment\nDemonstrated ability to read and interpret specifications, schematics and block diagrams\nUnited States citizenship.\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
