Will effectively interact with design engineering team and provide support across Factory Value Streams, Materials and Process experts, Process engineering, Tool Design and Operations.\nThis position will work an on-site 12-hour weekend day schedule, Friday - Sunday. No relocation is available for this role.\nIn this job, you will:\nUnderstand the design intent, failure modes, requirements and specifications of the product as well as the manufacturing processes, process controls, statistics, SPC, and quality inspections.\nProvide expertise and guidance in interpreting governmental regulations, agency guidelines and internal policies/procedures to assure compliance/resolve non-conformances in the nonconformance management system and will serve as liaison between the weekday Quality Engineers and various internal and external organizations on the weekend, including some government agencies.\nWork directly with operating entities to ensure that inspections, process control, and audits are conducted on a continuing basis as specified to enforce requirements, meet specifications, and improve processing.\nInfrequent on-call duty - approximately one week per quarter - primarily remote support with on-site presence seldom required.\nInfrequent weekday on-site support - approximately two hours per month - supporting training, organizational, or production needs.\nAble to work in manufacturing environment, including accessing ladders, stairs, and work platforms.\nOther duties as assigned\nThis position can be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3.\nBasic Qualifications for Level 2:\nBachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional/relevant experience - OR - Master’s degree with 0 years of professional/relevant experience.\nPrincipal Quality Engineer: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional/relevant experience - OR - Master’s degree with 3 years of professional/relevant experience.\nMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance\nInfrequent on-call duty - approximately one week per quarter - primarily remote support with on-site presence seldom required.\nAble to work in manufacturing environment, including accessing ladders, stairs, and work platforms.
