As a Quality Engineer Manager - Level 2 your role at Oxnard, CA will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.\nReady to join forces with our visionary team?\nDevelops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product. Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. May specialize in the areas of design, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.\nThis position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.\nIn this job, you will:\nManage a team within the larger organizational unit, setting & operating to objectives & providing guidance to subordinates based on goals, objectives & company policy.\nRegularly performs analysis of alternative courses of action. Decisions have risk/reward implications for program or area of influence.\nCollaborate and coordinate with other functional managers, process center leaders, value stream leaders and value stream owner(s) to meet division, value stream, and quality objectives.\nEstablishes operating procedures that affect organizational unit(s). Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to organizational policies. Establishes operating policies and procedures that affect subordinate organizational units.\nCollaborate and coordinate with mission assurance, production quality engineering, and manufacturing teams to achieve product and site goals associated with overall program quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Provide proposal support.\nServes in the role of Management Representative as required per AS9100 and coordinates 3rd party audits, including ensuring resources are prepared and available to support.\nAccountable for Quality Inspection and Quality Engineering resource and budget planning.\nAccountable to ensure Quality Management System is effective and followed.\nReview trend metrics and analyze misses.\nFacilitate root cause determination and resolve quality issues, including nonconformance (NC), corrective action (CA), and EIDP.\nDevel and execute quality inspection training plan.\nOther duties as assigned\nIf this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team!\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience - OR - Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
