What You’ll Get To Do:
This is a functional home room (FHR) manager position, involving both the overall functional oversight and management of an Systems Engineering group while maintaining a technical baseline of performance on program work. The candidate will spend ~20% of their time on functional/organizational support and ~80% of their time on a mix of technical program work from current/existing tasking, or potential future tasking. Functional management involves, but is not limited to, organizational administrative activities and helping employees’ performance and career development through guidance and training. Program responsibilities will be dependent upon programmatic technical work and may vary by individual.

This position’s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 8 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 years of related experience.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
- 1+ year of experience developing requirements or verification using DOORS and/or Cameo
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Active DoD Top Secret with SAP clearance
- ICBM Experience
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
- Experience managing programs or subcontracts in an Earned Value framework - Control Account Manager certified
- Strong understanding and broad application of engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities
- Demonstrated experience in making sound decisions in uncertain and difficult situations
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- 1+ year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
- 3+ years of experience developing requirements or verification using DOORS and/or Cameo.
