This position is in Roy, UT or Colorado Springs, CO in support of the Sentinel Program. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nPrincipal Systems Engineer (level 3):\nBachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 5 years of experience with bachelor’s degree, 3 years of experience with master’s degree, 1 year of experience with PhD\nMust be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance investigated within the past 6 years. \n1-2 years of experience in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Tools (Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody or similar)\n1-2 years of functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into support equipment specifications using DOORS.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nUnderstanding of systems thinking and systems engineering processes\nAbility to think critically and communicate effectively\n1+ years of experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Tools (Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody or similar)\nPrevious experience performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into support equipment specifications using DOORS.\n#SentinelSystems\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $155,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
