This position will be located at Roy, UT to support the Sentinel (GBSD) program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nWork with Design, Integrated Logistics Support, Specialty Engineering, and project management in development of Support Equipment for mission operational system on the Sentinel program to apply concepts and practices to Support Equipment\nExecute system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for Support Equipment \nIntegrate design and systems engineering across multiple teams and products to ensure the supportability and maintainability of a complex system-of-systems\nPerform analyses at all levels of product lifecycle to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.\nExecute the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements as applicable to support equipment and total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.\nPerforms functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into support equipment specifications using DOORS. \nDevelops Architectural framework products using CAMEO MBSE product toolsets. \nEnsure support equipment requirements, architecture, and designs integrate with technical needs of the Sentinel program.\nBasic Qualifications\nRequires a bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 2 years of related experience; or a master’s degree with 1 year of related experience \nMust be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance, at time of application\nRequires experience with test, including test planning and/or test execution\nRequires experience with Requirements management tools (DOORS, for example)\nPreferred Qualifications\nUnderstanding of System Engineering (SE) process, including SE experience across multiple levels of integration\nExperience with the following tools: CAMEO, DOORS, Confluence, and JIRA\nUnderstands Support Equipment and uses, i.e., Peculiar (PSE) and Common (CSE) Support Equipment\nExperience with large scale aerospace/defense projects\nExperience with a technical Test team for a defense project(s)\nHard working, motivated, and independent worker\nExcellent communication skills and people skills\nExcellent critical thinking and personal organizational skills\nPosition Benefits\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:\nMedical, Dental & Vision coverage\n401k\nEducational Assistance\nLife Insurance\nEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions\nPaid Time Off\nHealth & Wellness Resources\nEmployee Discounts \nThis position’s standard work schedule is 9/80. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
