This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO and will support the Sentinel program.\nThis role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\nWhat You Will Get To Do:\nLead and manage a diverse group of test engineers across multiple scrum teams, providing both technical leadership (in accordance with the Sentinel SOW) and functional management for a section of test engineers. \nPlan, develop, and direct lab stand-up, design, integration, and operations activities, including oversight of integration and lab operations teams. \nSynthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into lab architecture and integration solutions that balance technical, schedule, and cost constraints. \nDevelop and manage integration plans and schedules, lab operations budgets, and lab processes to ensure compliance while integrating hardware and software units. \nDesign, develop, and implement testing methods, procedures, and equipment, including defining parameters and specifying tests to be performed. \nCoordinate and execute integration, regression, verification/validation, and product/system-level testing (including checkout in system test labs), as well as test planning, execution, reporting, and integration support. \nPerform data analysis against requirements and interfaces for each software build or hardware component; compile results and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements. \nNavigate and manage requirements in DOORS and apply Model-Based Systems Engineering practices with an understanding of DoDAF and SysML. \nCollaborate with systems engineers, software engineers, test teams, lab users, and other stakeholders to align lab and test requirements with product needs and to support verification activities. \nDevelop, release, and maintain engineering documentation, including detailed test reports, and support formal verification of the system. \nPlan and execute short- and long-term integration activities across multiple concurrent baselines, integrating subsystem functionality into system capabilities with emphasis on stability and performance.\nParticipate in technical exchange meetings, interface with internal and external customers, and contribute to a broad range of program deliverables in a dynamic, people-focused environment.\nPosition Benefits:\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:\nMedical, Dental & Vision coverage\n401k\nEducational Assistance\nLife Insurance\nEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions\nPaid Time Off\nHealth & Wellness Resources\nEmployee Discounts\nThis positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.\nYou’ll Bring These Qualifications:\nBachelors degree with 8 years of related work experience: or Masters and 6 years of related experience. \nMust have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need\nAt least 1 year experience working in a lab environment or executing in a test campaign (through test planning, procedure development, test execution, and reporting)\nFamiliarity with product integration, regression, and verification testing\nKnowledge of system integration and test principles and processes\nThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:\nEarned Value Management experience\nAt least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule\nExperience generating and maintaining engineering documentation (test procedures, test reports, integration plans, configuration baselines)\nExperience supporting or managing integration and test labs (lab stand-up, configuration, operations, or maintenance)\nActive CISSP DoD 8570 IAM Level III security certification\nExperience in Test Automation (development and execution)\nKnowledge of Model Based System Engineering with an understanding of DODAF and SysML\nAbility to work with cross-functional teams and customers\nExperience with wide range of embedded devices, such as Micro-controllers, FPGAs, and CPLDs.\nExperience with Mil-Std-461 and 810 testing\nExperience with communication interfaces and protocols such as USB, Ethernet, TIA/EIA-232 / 422 / 485, I2c, SPI, UART, MIL-STD-1553 and/or SpaceWire\nExperience with TeamCenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $133,200.00 - $199,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
