This position will be located in Huntsville, AL. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\nWhat You’ll get to Do:\nAs an integral part of the Production Scaling and Product Support Integrated Product Team you will lead the definition and development of a new sea launched cruise missile. You will provide both engineering functional leadership and technical project execution leadership while overseeing approximately 10-15 engineers. Individuals in this team work across several Northrop Grumman sites. This role will also interact with program suppliers. The position would functionally lead a team of engineers and Subject Matter Experts in the areas of production and manufacturing, affordability, and logistics engineering.\nIn this Systems Engineering Manager 2 role, you will be expected to perform productive (direct charge) work in addition to functional management duties. It is anticipated that given the size of this team, the candidate will spend ~80% of their time on programs in a technical/leadership role, and ~20% of their time in the functional role. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\nYou’ll Bring These Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Masters\nUS Citizenship with Active U.S. Government Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.\nExperience with production, manufacturing, logistics, or affordability.\nExperience briefing and interfacing with high level customers\nThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:\nAdvanced degrees in a STEM field.\nActive Top Secret Clearance or higher.\nExperience leading groups of 10+ in a functional, programmatic (development and/or production), or technical capacity.\nKnowledge of hiring, staffing, engineering metrics, training resources, processes, and tools, evidenced by at least 2 years of practical application.\nExperience in the functional management of an engineering organization.\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $153,800.00 - $230,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
