The candidate should be a self-starter with familiarity working in an Integrated Product Team construct. This position will be in our Avionics Integration Organization.\nRoles and Responsibilities will include:\nProvide technical leadership and direction to a cross-functional team of cloud, datacenter, and infrastructure engineers.\nManage the team’s Jira project: lead scrums, define sprint plans, track progress, and resolve priority conflicts.\nMaintain technical breadth across the datacenter and IT stack (compute, storage, networking, virtualization, containers, and observability).\nDevelop and execute a staffing and content delivery plan per the IFC roadmap.\nPlan and release content for each IFC based on program milestones and technical dependencies.\nCoordinate with the Product Owner to groom the backlog, prioritize work, and align deliverables to program milestones and technical risk.\nTranslate customer requirements into hardware, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Environment, Platform and Tenant design and delivery plans.\nDefine and review acceptance criteria with Product Owner and System Engineers to ensure consistent implementation and verification.\nParticipate in design and peer reviews; author technical design artifacts, runbooks, and test plans.\nDecompose complex technical issues into concise executive briefs for program leadership and decision-making.\nProvide hands-on mentorship, knowledge transfer, and technical oversight during solution implementation and integration.\nEnsure configuration management, change control, and traceability for hardware and infrastructure designs and deployments.\nPerform cost account planning, budgeting and earned value management.\nThe selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. There is NO remote / hybrid / telework available for this position. Travel up to 25% may be required.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and8 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 4 years of related engineering experience.\nExperience leading a team\nHands on experience with server, storage, virtualization, and networking technologies in enterprise or defense datacenter environments.\nPractical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures.\nStrong working knowledge of network fundamentals and security best practices for infrastructure.\nProven ability to translate customer requirements into hardware/infrastructure designs, develop acceptance criteria, and produce technical documentation and runbooks.\nFamiliarity with configuration management, change control, and compliance requirements\nFamiliarity with earned value management\nMust have an active US Government Top-Secret Clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).\nAbility to obtain and maintain US Government SCI clearance \nMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCurrent applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.\nCertified Cost Account Manager\nFamiliar with systems engineering practices\nDemonstrated experience using Agile tools and processes (Jira, sprint planning, backlog grooming, scrum ceremonies).\nExperience with Microsoft Visio and other Office products to express engineering documentation\nKnowledge of Cisco UCS Compute, NetApp ONTAP/StorageGrid, Cisco Nexus Networks, VMware virtualization (ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, NSX-T, Horizon) and Red Hat OpenShift\nExcellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
