Position is located in Oklahoma City, OK.\nExciting position offers the opportunity to become part of a Northrop Grumman team of professionals who are actively developing Avionics Testing Solutions and Specialized Test Equipment for the LGM-35A Sentinel Missile platforms. We also work on and assist with the US Air Force and numerous other Government platforms. Our team members complete engineering, reverse engineering, and logistics solution efforts to solve complex obsolescence problems and ensure warfighter supportability. The position will research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and products for defense or commercial systems.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and define system architecture for new or existing complex integrated test systems\nCoordinates design of subsystems and integration of total systems in a laboratory environment\nOversight and ownership of engineering design as well as 2D drawing formats and standards for a wide array of electrical products:Cable assemblies\nWiring diagrams\nSystem interconnects\nNetwork interconnects\nCircuit Card Assemblies\n\nDevelopment and coordination for internal and customer design reviews for the electrical and system level designs of our products\nAssist in troubleshooting of lab equipment as failures occur\nCoordination with engineering manager(s) to ensure product technical data packages meet project schedule commitments\nCoordinate between several internal and external stakeholder groups (Software Development, System Test, Cyber Operations, Procurement, etc.) to achieve contractual commitments\nAnalyze complex electronic circuitry and precision electro-mechanical assemblies through simulation or analysis in order to recommend component substitutions or re-design solutions to ensure the integrity of the platform configuration, system safety, and performance specifications.\nIdentify, analyze, and solve obsolescence issues.\nEstablish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.\nIdentify program problems and assist in the establishing of solutions, such as allocation of resources, improved processes, or changing contractual specifications.\nAct independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of programs.\nSupport process improvement and establishment.\nPerforms functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.\nGenerate reports and presents to Government counterparts, defense contractors, and other cross-functional organizations.\nProvide leadership and mentoring in addition to being an individual performer\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering (or equivalent) with 8 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree with 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD with 3 years of related engineering experience\nAbility to listen effectively, take direction, and possess initiative to accomplish assigned tasks and complete work in a timely fashion\nAbility to read engineering drawings and specifications\nAbility to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance & special program access\nExperience in Aerospace or Defense industry (development or test)\nAbility to obtain/maintain access to work on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.\nExperience with Wiring Diagram Layout tools and design principles.\nExperience with Printed Circuit Board Layout tools and design principles.\nPreferred Qualifications: \nActive U.S. Government SECRET or higher security clearance with investigation in the last five (5) years\nActive Program clearance\nMaster’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related discipline\nExperience in Circuit Analysis & Digital/Analog Design\nExperience in Signal I/O Interfacing & Distribution\nExperience in Voltage/Resistance/Capacitance/Isolation Testing\nExperience in Power Distribution Systems\nExperience with HW/SW Integration\nExperience in Instrumentation or Avionics Systems\nExperience in Nuclear Surety\nExperience in an Agile development environment\nExperience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams\nExperience with any of the following CAD Software Tools and Data Management Products: CATIA, SolidWorks Mechanical/PDM, Siemens NX/Capital, SEE Electrical Expert, Microsoft Visio, National Instruments LabView, SmarTeam, Team Center\nExperience with nuclear hardened systems.\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $116,300.00 - $174,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
