Start dates are determined after funding confirmation\nKey Responsibilities:\nDetermine customer needs and develop approaches, implementations, components, interfaces, identify standards and constraints, civil requirements, and security needs\nSurvey the industry for awareness of customer needs and alternative systems\nLead trade studies, technology development, and subcontractor teams\nLead technical and cost proposals\nWrite white papers describing offerings and provide leadership and/or direction to software integration, test leads, and various engineering teams\n Basic Qualifications:\nMust have a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline AND 12 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline AND 10 years of related professional/military experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline AND7 years of related professional/military experience.\nMust have experience working with aerospace Ground System architecture\nMust have experience in hardware design, hardware architecture, or systems engineering roles\nMust have experience creating and maintaining, and releasing engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, and product definition documentation\nMust have experience with configuration management and engineering change processes, including document revision control and release workflows\nMust have experience and ability to develop and maintain architecture documentation, including system-level diagrams, interface definitions, and technical baselines\nMust have experience using PLM/PDM systems for drawing management, document control, and product release activities\nMust have strong understanding of product lifecycle management, configuration control, and design documentation best practices\nMust have the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and program management teams to ensure accurate product definition and release\nMust have an active US Government Secret Clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of, or experience with, common ground approaches, implementations, components, standards, interfaces, constraints, and security needs\nWorking knowledge of systems engineering principles, processes, software and hardware integration\nExperience with tools such as CAD, ECAD, PLM, and ERP systems supporting product release and lifecycle management\nExperience with Agile development and JIRA\nExperience writing and presenting technical information to customers and internal management audience\nExperience with Cyber Security requirements and/or implementation\nExperience in initial design, review, and the approval process and implementation thereof said design cradle to grave\nExperience in Team Center, the Team Center release process, CATIA and CAD drawing\nExperience with supplier subcontractors and supplier SOWs\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $177,000.00 - $265,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
