This position will be in our Avionics Integration Organization.\nA successful candidate will be familiar with one or more of the following; understanding of one or multiple of the following: Weapon systems, apertures architecture and integration, advanced signal processing techniques, sensor modeling, survivability techniques and sensor performance validation. Responsibilities will include the requirement to familiarize yourself with the design, development and sustainment of an avionics related subsystem.\nThe selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. There is NO remote / hybrid / telework available for this position. Travel up to 25% may be required.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and9 years of related engineering experience.\n\nPractical experience working with RF-related payload systems\n\nExperience interfacing directly with supplier team technical staff to resolve issues in NG labs\n\nSuccessful history of resolving integration issues by teaming with various IPTs and suppliers to incorporate solutions, while meeting program schedule\n\nMust have an active US Government Secret Clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain US Government Top Secret clearance\n\nMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nActive USG Top Secret SCI CLEARANCE with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).\n\nBe a highly motivated self-starter with an ability to operate effectively on a team of engineers and technicians.\n\nCurrent applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.\n\nBachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering\n\nExperience in avionics / payloads system integration and test\n\nFamiliarity with common industry standards related to communications systems, such as MIL-STD-1553, RS-422, RS-232, IPv4/IPv6\n\nExperience with RF based test equipment to include spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters\n\nExperience working on Agile Scrum teams\n\nExperience with the following programming and scripting languages: C, C++, and/or Python\n\nNetworking experience (Layer 2/3 Networking and training/certifications (Network+, Security+, etc.)\n\nRecent experience and proficiency in software architecture, design, implementation, integration, Docker Containers, RHEL 8.10 or later.\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $177,000.00 - $265,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
