Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking aSupply Chain Technical Coordinator to provide support to our team in our Iuka, Mississippi location.\nThe selected candidate will support and assist activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provide technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations. The employee will be primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials.\nProvide logistical support:\nPreparing and/or coordinating required shipping documentation.\n\nStorage, tracking, and issuing inventories.\n\nCoordinates with Property Management for shipping/receiving tooling and equipment.\n\nMonitoring receipt of item at receipt and maintains shipment/receiving records.\n\nAssist Accounts Payable in processing Invoices by providing shipment information.\n\nEnsure received parts/materials are staged for Quality Incoming Inspection.\n\nOrdering of needed shipping supplies\n\nKnowledge of Workbooks, procedures, and forms.\n\nPosition is on the C shift (Fri, Sat, Sun 7am -7:30pm)\nBasic Qualifications Level 2:\nHigh School Diploma/GED and 2 yrs relevant work experience in shipping/receiving, and/or inventory control and/or manufacturing environment\n\n Must have an Active U.S Government Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation.\n Must have the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.\nThis position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in operating a forklift and other types of freight moving equipment.\n\nExperience with safely loading and unloading trucks.\n\nExperience with setting up shipments and/or coordinating with transportation brokers.\n\nExperience with classified white-glove shipping requirements.\n\nExperience with using an MRP system for storing and issuing inventory.\n\nPrevious experience with inventory with shelf life and/or out-time controls.\n\nExperienced user of MS Office computer programs to accomplish reports, logs, and briefings.\n\nHazmat training and experience is highly desired.\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $18.56 - $30.96The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
