Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance of the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.\nThis position will be responsible for preparing for and executing Spacecraft Operations & Maintenance.\nWhat you’ll get to do:\nProvide on-call support for resolution and lead return to operations following anomalies\nPerform root cause and corrective action analysis in response to system anomalies\nContribute and present to program and customer leadership on system state of health (SOH), anomalies, and other critical needs or topics\nContribute to topics and discussions with external interfaces (Customers and SETAs) and sub-contractors\nFoster a culture of knowledge transfer through documentation and recording of system operations, hardware, and software\nDemonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business\nMust be able to work as an effective member of a team, be self-motivated, and work under general direction while independently determining and developing approaches to solutions.\nPossibility of travel to support offsite meetings (not mandatory)\nBasic Qualifications:\nMust have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience OR a Master of Science Degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience\nExperience with determining root cause and correction actions\nCandidate must have an active SCI at time of application OR\nCandidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (or equivalent) at time of application and prior to start date as well as the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain an active SCI prior to start date. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to the candidate’s maintenance of the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience interfacing with customers/executive management\nKnowledge of MATLAB, Python, and/or Linux OS\nExperience with systems with complex data paths and processing\nKnowledge and familiarity with space vehicle subsystems\nKnowledge and familiarity of space vehicle fault management and autonomy \nExperience with Operations and Maintenance of Space Systems\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
