This position will be located in Oklahoma City, OK.\nSystems Engineer will be responsible for coordination and collaboration with diverse engineering design teams to provide imaginative, technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems in establishing and managing the technical baseline in support of review milestones. The candidate will be executing tasks in system engineering functions. The position requires systems thinking and working knowledge of the full development life-cycle processes that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Candidate must exhibit strong leadership characteristics in coordinating with multiple teams and managing tasks.\nThis position may be filled at the System Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer level. This position is contingent upon verification of DoD Secret clearance and obtainment of Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.\nBasic Qualifications:\nSystems Engineer: 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters\nPrincipal Systems Engineer: 5 years experience with a STEM Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 3 years experience with a STEM Master's degree in a related field\nActive DoD Secret security clearance with a background investigation date within 6 years\nMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrefer Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Engineering Physics\nMaster’s Degree\nKnowledge with Agile Framework\nExperience working on military aircraft / spacecraft systems.\nExperience in developing, managing, and decomposing requirements.\nExperience in system architecture, CONOPs, or model-based system engineering.\nExperience in ICD development and integration\nDemonstrated communication and technical writing skills.\nProven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders.\nScripting experience\nWeapon system experience\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $131,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
