No remote/telework arrangement is available for this position.\nThe Technical Production Program Manager 2 will lead and manage production of the Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile (AARGM), an air-launched, counter-air-defense weapon system for U.S. and FMS customers. The Production Program Manager oversees production contract execution phases including: kick-off, planning, material procurement, manufacturing, and delivery.\nResponsibilities:\nLead and direct cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives\nManage DoD customer relationships\nMeasure and report program performance\nDevelop and brief executive level presentations to customer leadership, executive management, and other program stakeholders\nParticipate in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions\nSupport and at times lead the development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools\nIdentify, allocate and manage program resources, including workforce planning\nCoordinate with Government Property team in support of Government/customer supplied property or information (GFE, CFE, etc.)\nSupport the management of Intercompany Work Order (IWO) and Independent Suppliers to meet program objectives\nAdhere to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards\nSupport and at times lead the development and adherence to master plans and integrated master schedules\nConduct thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization\nSupport and lead proposal preparation process as required\nAttributes:\nProduction Management: Strong understanding of production and manufacturing processes\nBusiness Acumen: Strong understanding of financial, market, and strategic concepts.\nCapture Management: Ability to anticipate and shape customer needs.\nCommunication: Skilled at stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and executive-level reporting.\nProgram Growth: Experience identifying and driving business expansion.\nProposal Development: Ability to shape RFP responses and deliver compliant proposals.\nRisk & Opportunity Management: Forward-looking, analytical approach to uncertainty. Familiarity with R&O Mgmt processes.\nCustomer Intimacy: Builds strong, trusted relationships with customers and partners.\nHigh Resilience: Integrity and resilience under pressure, and ability to make data-driven decisions.\nContinuous Improvement: Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 8 years of program management experience OR a master’s degree and 6 years of program management experience.\n4+ years of managing production programs and leading high performing, cross-functional teams within the aerospace/defense sector\nExperience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at or under cost achieving all requirements as either a project lead, integrated program team lead, or cost account manager.\nExperience with executive level power point presentations\nDemonstrated competencies with risk, issues and opportunities\nManagement of firm fixed price (FFP) projects\nProficiency in project management tools and processes such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and Risk and Opportunity Management.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nA degree in science, engineering, or business\nPMP® certification\nExperience managing programs as the Prime Contractor for DoD systems\nExperience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.\nCurrent US Government Secret security clearance with ability to get cleared for SAP\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $161,100.00 - $241,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
