The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration, along with expertise in supporting cloud applications and infrastructures across platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. They should have hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, automated configurations, large-scale software deployments, and continuous integration/delivery processes, as well as proficiency in containerization tools such as Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.\nThe ideal candidate will be capable of designing, deploying and maintaining scalable cloud-native infrastructure using Hashi Corp Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt, and should also be proficient with Linux OS and bash scripting. This role demands a self-starter who can work in an Agile sprint-based environment and interpret requirements epics into stories and execute those pointed stories producing high-quality cloud infrastructure platforms for software developers.\nKey Responsibilities:\n· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement cloud infrastructure\n· Administration of cloud infrastructure using Rancher and Elastic\n· Apply Agile sprint-based methodologies including program increment planning\n· Troubleshoot infrastructure deployments at the node and pod level\n· Contribute to architectural decisions and the evolution of our tech stack\nRequirements\nMust have a high school diploma or GED\nAt least 4+ years of relevant experience\nExperience with AWS command line and console, Lambda, KMS, workspaces, etc.\nRequired certification Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC\nMust have an active or current Top-Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI) and a polygraph (CIP)\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering\nExperience with Hashi Corp tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt\nScripting abilities in languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python\nKnowledge of Karpenter, Valkey, Velero, Networks\nFamiliarity with protocols including JSON and XML\nAn understanding of frameworks like OWASP or DevSecOps\nA cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Google Cloud Architect, or MCSE - Cloud Platform)\nAbility to be read into special access programs\nBenefits\nWork/Life Balance\nNorthstrat values true work life balance. Although project requirements may dictate schedules, a Northstrat employee is only required to work an average of 8 hours per weekday over the course of a month. For example: John worked 12 hours on June 1st to meet a project deadline. On June 15th, John only worked 4 hours because he left early for a long weekend.
