As an Cabulance driver with Northwest Ambulance, you will provide pre-hospital and interfacility care, transport patients safely, and represent our organization with professionalism and heart. Operating solo in a wheelchair-accessible van, you'll transport patients between medical facilities - handling their belongings, equipment, and paperwork - and ensure every handoff is smooth from pickup to receiving-staff report.\nWhat You'll Do\nAs an Cabulance driver, your core responsibilities will include:\nKeep the vehicle clean, stocked, and road-ready at all times\nArrive at facilities on schedule and assist patients into the vehicle safely\nTransport patients along with all belongings, paperwork, and equipment\nProvide patient care reports to receiving staff as needed\nCollect required signatures from patients and medical staff\nFollow all NWA policies, protocols, and safety standards\nRequirements\nRequired:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nAge 23 or older with at least 2 years of driving experience\nValid Driver's License - must have maintained for 2 years or longer.\nClean driving record - limit of 2 citations in past 36 months; DUI and other serious offenses may disqualify candidacy.\nAble to pass background check and drug screening\nAble to obtain CPR/First Aid certification (NWA reimburses the cost)\nStrong communication, organization, and time-management skills\nAbility to work extended shifts, including nights, weekends, and holiday\nComfortable in a fast-paced, occasionally high-stress environment\nPreferred Skills & Abilities\nOutstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.\nExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.\nSuperb time management capabilities.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift, carry, and move up to 75 lbs and perform repeated bending, kneeling, and lifting.\nAbility to work in varied weather conditions and high-stress environments.\nBenefits\nWhat you can expect from us:\nWe offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance to ensure the well-being and health of our employees.\nRegular, non-exempt field employees who are scheduled to work on designated holidays are paid a premium holiday rate of 1.5 times their regular rate for all hours worked on the holiday.\nOur commitment to your financial future is reflected in our generous 401k program.
