In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications that make a significant impact on healthcare delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement robust solutions that support our mission of enhancing patient care and streamlining healthcare processes.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDesign and develop responsive, high-performance web applications that serve as the backbone of our healthcare AI platform.\n\nCollaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into technical designs and user-friendly interfaces.\n\nBuild and optimize RESTful APIs to enable seamless integrations with various healthcare systems and third-party services.\n\nImplement best practices for code quality, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) to ensure high reliability and maintainability of our software.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack, from front-end functionality to back-end infrastructure.\n\nMentor junior engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise to foster their growth and enhance team capabilities.\n\nWork closely with our data science team to deploy machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) algorithms into production environments.\n\nContribute to architectural decisions and code reviews, ensuring adherence to design principles and standards.\n\nEngage in agile development processes, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to continuously improve team workflows.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n8-10 years of relevant work experience in fullstack web development, with a focus on modern technologies and frameworks.\n\nExcellent problem-solving, coding, and debugging skills with a proven ability to deliver scalable solutions.\n\nDeep understanding of modern web application development, including proficiency in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby).\n\nStrong ability to break down complex problems into manageable components and implement effective solutions across multiple services.\n\nExperience writing maintainable, well-tested, and reliable code, with adherence to software development best practices.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate designs, architecture, and technical concepts clearly.\n\nA collaborative mindset, willing to work closely with diverse teams and stakeholders.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.\n\nWe value in-person collaboration and connection. For Bay Area-based employees, this role requires being in our San Mateo office at least three days a week.
