You’ll be at the heart of our busy fleet operation, supporting our Eastcroft and Woolsthorpe workshops and working with a wide range of internal and external customers.\nThe role includes:\nBooking and organising workshop jobs and helping plan workshop capacity\nCoordinating MOT tests, servicing and repair bookings\nCreating and maintaining vehicle, plant and equipment servicing schedules\nCreating, updating and progressing workshop jobs so they are ready to be closed and billed\nRaising invoices and purchase orders\nProviding professional customer service by telephone, email and face-to-face\nCoordinating pool and hire vehicle bookings, collections and returns\nSupporting DVSA MOT administration\nLiaising with suppliers and arranging subcontract work\nSupporting fleet compliance, vehicle preparation, fuel and vehicle cleaning activities\nAbout You\nWe’re looking for someone who is organised, accurate, proactive and customer-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy operational environment.\nThe ideal candidate will have:\nStrong organisational and customer service skills\nGood IT, communication and numeracy skills\nA high level of accuracy when working with data\nExperience of customer service in a busy environment\nExperience of raising invoices and purchase orders\nExperience of working in a commercial environment\nKnowledge of booking or fleet management systems\nThe ability to work effectively as part of a team\nA full driving licence\nThe role supports operations at both Eastcroft and Woolsthorpe Depots, and you will need to be willing to work at either depot or other sites when required.\nYou can find the job description for this post here.\nAt Nottingham City Council we believe that work is what you do, not where you do it.
