Does that sound like you?\n\nAbout the job\nJoin our Augusta manufacturing team where you'll play a critical role in safely operating our chemical production processes while helping ensure quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This position offers a unique combination of control room operations and hands-on field work in a highly collaborative environment.\nIn your future role as Chemical Operator, you will\nSafely operate and monitor chemical production processes using DeltaV and field equipment while following established operating procedures.\nPerform process monitoring, sampling, laboratory testing, inspections, and equipment operation to ensure safe and efficient production.\nTroubleshoot process issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis, and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nConduct autonomous maintenance, 5S activities, and support plant reliability and asset integrity.\nRecord production, quality, and operational data while ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality requirements.\nCollaborate closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Shipping, and HSE teams to maintain safe and reliable plant operations.\nWe believe you bring\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nStrong experience operating equipment in a chemical or process manufacturing environment.\nExperience working safely in a Process Safety Management (PSM) manufacturing environment.\nExperience troubleshooting production processes and participating in Root Cause Analysis.\nAbility to work a 12-hour rotating DuPont shift schedule.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nFluent English and basic computer proficiency.\nGreat if you have\nExperience using DeltaV distributed control systems.\nWorking knowledge of SAP R/3 and Microsoft Office.\nExperience with control room operations.\nExperience performing basic laboratory testing and continuous improvement activities.\nWe believe you are\nYou are someone who always puts safety first and takes ownership of your work.
