  • Lead investigations into non-conformances, OOS results, technical complaints, product/process deviations, and quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Track product history, quality trends, and performance using Statistical Quality Control (SQC) and other analytical tools.
  • Lead quality improvement meetings and collaborate with Production and other functions to address quality, raw material, specification, scheduling, and process issues.
  • Serve as the site representative for ISO 9001, EFfCI, HALAL, KOSHER, RC 14001, GMP, and other applicable quality standards.
  • Support and participate in internal, corporate, customer, and external certification audits, including audit preparation, findings, corrective actions, and timely closure.
  • Maintain the Quality Manual, Quality Policy, training documentation, and personnel qualification records.
  • Oversee final documentation review and approval for production and support quality inputs for specifications, inspection plans, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
  • Manage SAP QM activities, including quality plans, quality characteristics, methods, COAs, and Material Master QM setup and updates.
  • Partner with customers and internal teams to resolve COA issues, quality concerns, and product requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the QC department budget and support annual quality objectives and goals.
  • Provide data, metrics, dashboards, trend analysis, and root cause analysis to support performance improvement and corporate initiatives.
  • Identify key quality characteristics, establish appropriate metrics, collect data, and analyze results to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles and help develop improved testing methods that meet customer requirements efficiently and competitively.
  • Ensure applicable GMP and safe work practices are followed within the quality department and support site HSES activities.
  • Support corporate quality initiatives, Management of Change (MOC), product reviews, and other quality improvement projects.
  • Interface with SAP, MES, and other quality data systems and maintain information related to OOS materials and dispositions.

We believe you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Quality, Statistics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with quality management systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, RC 14001, EFfCI, GMP, HALAL, KOSHER, and SAP.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Statistical Quality Control (SQC), including predictive and regression analytics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Minitab or similar statistical software.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
