Does that sound like you?\n\nAbout the job\n\nThe Site Manager has end responsibility for the management of all site operations including HSE, daily production and order fulfillment, plant and facility maintenance, manufacturing cost management, site employee relations and all workforce related issues including regulation compliance, local Government Issue coordination. Develops operational action plans and implements controls which assure targets are met and business opportunities are identified, assessed, and implemented within the framework of the global strategy of the business. This role is also responsible for overseeing the interactions with the hourly collective bargaining unit.\nIn your future role as Site Manager, you will\nKey Accountability\nSite Health, Safety, and Environmental Performance\nSite manufacturing performance including but not limited to the following:Fixed Manufacturing Cost (FMC) performance\n\nVariable Manufacturing Cost (VMC) performance\nOEE\nProduction Schedule Adherence\nDevelops a culture of productivity using Nouryon Leading Performance System.\n Establish and maintain an organizational culture based on Nouryon values. Lead the organizations development as a role model, provides an environment of high employee satisfaction and engagement. \nIntegrate manufacturing efforts with marketing and business development to maximize the growth potential of the site\nOversee economic and new business venture studies; direct, design and implement major construction and startup of new facilities.\nPrepare site budgets and capital expenditure forecasts; approve expenditures within specified limits, and initiate appropriation requests.\nEstablish and maintain working relationships outside the site with community and government officials, regulatory agencies, suppliers, customers, neighboring industries.\nPromote the ideologies of total quality management\nResponsible for mentoring and leading the talent and career development of key employees.\nOther duties and tasks as directed by the Regional Manufacturing Director\nKey Activity\nImplementation of standard maintenance and reliability processes\nImprovement of maintenance and asset strategy processes\nAllocation of resources to meet business objectives\nTravel as required to be effective in accomplishing objectives\n\nWe believe you bring\n\nEducation\nBachelor or Master degree in Engineering or similar discipline\nExperience\n\nMinimum of 8+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing environment (Engineering background). Solid operations background with maintenance, engineering, and site management experience.\nStrong managerial, communication, and interpersonal.
