Does that sound like you?\nAbout the job\n The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for leading process optimization, ensuring operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within chemical manufacturing operations. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to enhance productivity, reduce costs, improve safety, and support long-term plant performance.\n\nIn your future role as Sr. Process Engineer you will\n\nLead process optimization initiatives to improve KPIs such as OEE, yield, throughput, and cost efficiency\nIdentify, analyze, and eliminate process inefficiencies using Lean Six Sigma methodologies\nProvide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA, RCPS) for complex process issues\nDrive continuous improvement projects aligned with business and operational goals\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards within chemical manufacturing operations\nSupport plant startups, shutdowns, and scale-up activities with technical expertise\nCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams\nDevelop and implement process control strategies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)\nLead or participate in capital projects, including process design, modifications, and equipment selection\nAnalyze process data and trends to support decision-making and forecasting\nLead, coach, and develop a team of 6 Process Engineers, fostering both technical excellence and leadership capabilities\nActively identify and develop high-potential talent, building a strong leadership pipeline within the organization\nDrive a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and high performance\nEnsure knowledge transfer, capability building, and succession planning across the team\nForm future leaders and multiply the impact of the team through structured development and mentoring\nAct as a technical reference and escalation point for process-related challenges\nLeadership & Business Skills\nStrong people leadership skills with a proven ability to develop and grow engineering talent\nAbility to inspire, mentor, and elevate team performance\nStrategic thinking with the ability to align technical decisions with business objectives\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment\nHigh level of ownership, accountability, and results orientation\nWe believe you bring\n\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)\nProficiency in English (spoken and written) required\nHave we got your interest?\nThis is a permanent onsite position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Process Engineering Manager and based in Los Reyes, MX.\nPlease apply via our online recruitment system.
