application requirements, operating conditions and product selection guidelines.\nPrepare accurate technical and commercial quotations using internal systems, ensuring timely responses to customer enquiries.\nManage pumping applications throughout the enquiry, quotation, order and delivery process.\nCommunicate directly with customers and distributors, providing technical guidance, responding to queries and maintaining updates on order progress.\nCollaborate with Engineering, Design, Sales, Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements.\nPrepare, review and maintain technical documentation, including product datasheets, specifications and customer submissions.\nSupport the identification of additional product and service opportunities that provide value to customers.\nManage multiple enquiries and competing priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy, responsiveness and customer service.\n Essential Qualifications\nHNC or HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.\nGood understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering principles and the ability to interpret technical specifications.\nAbility to understand customer requirements and identify appropriate technical solutions.\nStrong communication skills and confidence interacting directly with customers and internal stakeholders.\nGood organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and take a proactive approach to technical problem-solving.\nWillingness to learn new products, applications and technical systems.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience in an Applications Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Support Engineer or similar technical/customer-facing role.\nKnowledge of industrial pumps, particularly progressive cavity (PC) pumps, pumping systems or fluid handling equipment.\nExperience preparing technical quotations, reviewing requests for quotation or supporting tender processes.\nFamiliarity with technical drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), product datasheets or equipment selection tools.\nUnderstanding of electrical systems associated with pumping applications, including motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs) and control systems.\nExperience within industries such as chemical processing, petrochemical, wastewater, food and beverage, or mining.\nEngineering degree in a relevant
