As experience grows, the engineer will assume greater responsibility for product features, software subsystems, and technical ownership, contributing to the evolution of NOV's next generation of connected industrial products.\n Implement new product features, enhancements, and user interface improvements under the guidance of senior engineering staff.\nSupport software integration with industrial equipment, PLCs, databases, cloud services, and third-party systems. \nParticipate in software testing, debugging, validation, and release activities to ensure reliable product performance. \nTroubleshoot software issues and assist with product sustainment, customer support, and field-related investigations. \nCollaborate with mechanical, controls, cloud, and product engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions. \nContribute to software design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development practices. \nCreate and maintain technical documentation, test procedures, and software design artifacts.\n\nContinuously develop technical knowledge in industrial automation, cloud-connected products, and modern application development.\n\n Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\n\n3 -5 years of relevant experience in Industrial Automation, Control Systems, PLC Programming, Industrial Software Development, or a related engineering field.\n\nDemonstrated software development experience through coursework, internships, co-op programs, or professional experience.\n\nExperience with one or more modern programming languages such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Python, or C++.\n\nUnderstanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and version control (Git).\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.\n\nEffective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment.\n\nWillingness to learn industrial automation, connected products, and modern software development practices.\n\nUnited State travel Visa preferred\n\nDemonstrate a strong desire to learn industrial equipment, customer workflows, and connected product technologies.\n\nDeliver high-quality, well-tested software features that improve the functionality and usability of Service Equipment products.\n\nCollaborate effectively with mechanical, controls,
