protected by applicable law.\n Support the electrical and electronic design process, including system architecture, schematics, calculations, risk assessments and associated design documentation.\nProduce and maintain accurate electrical schematics, installation and assembly drawings using AutoCAD Electrical or similar design tools.\nSupport the selection of electrical components and technical solutions based on project, operational and customer requirements.\nApply design control principles and contribute to product verification, testing and validation activities.\nSupport the development, programming and configuration of electrical and electronic systems where required.\nEnsure designs and documentation support compliance with applicable regulations and standards, including ATEX, EMC, LVD and other relevant market-specific requirements.\nReview technical specifications, contracts and customer requirements and support technical clarifications where required.\nCollaborate with Engineering, Production, Sales, Service, suppliers and other stakeholders to support equipment delivery and resolve technical issues.\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test procedures, manuals and technical bulletins.\nIncorporate production, testing and field feedback into the continuous improvement of new and existing designs.\nEssential Qualifications\nAn electrical or electronic engineering background gained through education, technical training, relevant practical experience or a combination of these.\nBasic understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles and a willingness to develop further technical knowledge.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications and technical documentation.\nPractical working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.\nGenuine interest in electrical and electronic engineering and curiosity about how technical systems work.\nPractical approach to problem-solving with the ability and willingness to learn through hands-on experience.\nStrong attention to detail and a structured, reliable approach to completing technical work.\nAbility to organise your workload and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPractical experience using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical or comparable electrical design software.\nPrevious experience in an electrical/electronic engineering, technical, drafting, workshop or design environment.\nExperience producing or working with electrical schematics, installation drawings or assembly drawings.\nExposure to PLC selection, configuration or programming.\nFamiliarity with hazardous-area electrical equipment, ATEX, CompEx or related standards.\nPractical experience with electrical assembly, testing, troubleshooting or equipment maintenance.\nExperience within energy, offshore, marine, oil & gas, automation, industrial equipment or another relevant technical environment.\nExposure to engineering projects, technical documentation or coordination with production, suppliers or customers.\nProject experience or basic project management exposure.\nFull, current UK driving
