The Dayton officer is the design center for NOV’s Chemineer™ rotating mixers and Prochem™ belt driven mixers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical design and detailing of mixing products with emphasis on customer needs, quality, budget, safety and on-time delivery.\n RESPONSIBILITIES\nDuties include, but are not limited to:\nInterpreting customer supplied drawings and technical specifications to define customer needs.\n\nPerforming calculations to ensure designs are of the highest quality and longest life.\n\nCreating parts, assemblies and drawings using Solidworks 3D CAD software.\n\nCreating part numbers and bills of material in Teamcenter product lifecycle management software.\n\nWorking with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are in line with factory capabilities, cost objectives, and core competencies.\n\nProviding engineering and operational support to machinists, suppliers and assemblers.\n\nExecuting engineering changes to legacy products.\n\nDeveloping and implementing cost reduction and process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.\n\nAssisting with project planning, production coordination, documentation management, and execution activities to support organizational and customer objectives.\n\nParticipating in cross-functional collaboration involving engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and business operations to support successful project delivery.\n\nCOMPETITIVE BENEFITS: (visit usbenefits.nov.com for more information about our benefits offerings)\n401(k) Retirement Plan - NOV matches every dollar up to 5% of base pay and overtime for every dollar you invest.\nCompetitive medical plans that are effective your date of hire.
