In this role, you will work with that reality every day.\nAs Development Engineer in NOV's Extrusion Process Team, you will help develop, improve and troubleshoot the extrusion processes behind some of the world's most advanced flexible pipe systems. You will work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Projects and R&D to understand technical challenges, find the root causes and turn good ideas into reliable solutions in production.\nPrevious extrusion experience is an advantage, but it is not a requirement. We are looking for an engineer who is curious, structured and willing to learn. With manufacturing facilities in Denmark and Brazil and a robust global engineering network, we are committed to technical innovation, quality, and operational excellence.\nWhat We Offer\nA skilled international team with a strong focus on extrusion, manufacturing technology and practical problem solving.\nA role where your work is visible in real production and contributes directly to safety, quality, productivity and process robustness.\nTechnical challenges that require both analytical thinking and hands-on validation on the production floor.\nClose collaboration with colleagues across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Projects and R&D.\nThe opportunity to influence manufacturing performance across our production sites in Denmark and Brazil.\nProfessional development in a highly specialized area with long-term importance for NOV's flexible pipe production.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and standardize extrusion processes to improve safety, quality, productivity and process robustness.\nLead technical investigations of complex production deviations together with Quality, Operations and Maintenance, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.\nSupport the introduction of new equipment and ensure new technology is transferred successfully into production.\nWork across Production, Maintenance, Quality, Projects and R&D to solve technical challenges and improve manufacturing performance.\nValidate ideas through practical trials, data analysis and close interaction with the production floor.\nShare knowledge across our manufacturing sites in Denmark and Brazil and travel internationally when required, typically 0-2 trips per year.\n Qualifications & Skills\nRequired\nFluent English\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Manufacturing or a related Engineering discipline.\nYou enjoy analysing technical problems and finding practical solutions.\nYou are naturally curious and interested in understanding how manufacturing processes really work.\nYou are comfortable working independently as well as in multidisciplinary teams, including direct interaction with the production floor.\nYou communicate clearly in English and can explain technical topics to colleagues from different functions and backgrounds.\nYou take a structured and quality-conscious approach to technical work and documentation.\nPreferred\nExperience with extrusion or other continuous manufacturing processes.\nExperience with process improvement, production troubleshooting or Root Cause Analysis.\nWhy Join Us?\nAt NOV, your ideas do not stay on the drawing board.
