To learn more about Rig Technologies products and services, please visit us at https://www.nov.com/about/our-company-structure/rig\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES\nAssembles and installs either electrical, electronic, mechanical or hydraulic / pneumatic components.\nTest hydraulic and pneumatic components.\nRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and schematics.\nOperate machines or use hand tools and power tools to secure parts in place.\nMount assembly components on panel or printed circuit boards, and connect component lead wires to printed circuits or routes and connect wires between individual component leads and other components using advanced soldering and crimping skills.\nInstall finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.\nAssemble and attach functional and cosmetic hardware to assemblies using hand tools and power tools.\nPerform continuity tests on completed assemblies.\nPerform the assembly, start up, and function test of equipment systems.\nTroubleshoot systems, make necessary repairs and any corrections to system.\nInstall and verify preferred software.\nPerform other work related tasks as assigned.\nComply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum of 3-years assemble/mechanical experience.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent \nAbility to work at high levels - wears Fall Protection Harness when performing work at above 4-feet. \nJOB REQUIREMENTS\nLimited travel.\nExposed to loud noise while in the warehouse.\nExposed to moving parts while on the shop floor.\nWorks in warehouse / shop floor environment setting 100% of the day, 0% of the day in spent at a computer in an office.\nExposed to occasional hot and/or cold weather depending on outside climate conditions and warehouse temperature.\nCOMPETITIVE BENEFITS: (visit usbenefits.nov.com for more information about our benefits offerings)\n401(k) Retirement Plan - NOV matches every dollar up to 5% of base pay and overtime for every dollar you invest.\nCompetitive medical plans that are effective your date of hire.
