AUTHORITY:\nEnsure daily compliance with NOV HSE policies, procedures, and relevant legal regulations.\nConduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify unsafe conditions or practices.\nReport, investigate, and document all incidents, near-misses, and safety observations in a timely manner.\nDeliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training to employees and contractors.\nEnforce implementation of the HSE Violations & Points System and follow up on corrective actions.\nSupport emergency preparedness and response planning, including drills and equipment checks.\nMaintain accurate HSE records and participate in preparing reports for management and clients.\nStop any unsafe work immediately and escalate serious non-compliance to the HSE Manager or site leadership.\nCollaborate with project teams and contractors to promote continuous safety improvement.\nAdvise on the selection and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and hazard controls.\nBEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & REQUIRED:\nAttention to Detail: Maintains accuracy in inspections, reporting, and documentation.\nProactive Mindset: Anticipates risks and takes initiative to prevent incidents.\nCommunication Skills: Clearly conveys safety expectations and procedures to diverse teams.\nIntegrity & Accountability: Upholds safety standards even under pressure and ensures compliance is maintained.\nTeam Collaboration: Works effectively with cross-functional teams and external contractors.\nProblem Solving: Responds to safety issues with practical, compliant, and timely solutions.\nResilience Under Pressure: Remains calm and focused in high-risk or emergency situations.\nLeadership in Safety Culture: Positively influences behavior and promotes a safe work environment.\n Diploma or bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nHSE certifications NEBOSH IGC.\nMinimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in an HSE role, preferably in industrial, oil & gas, or construction
