SUMMARY\nPerform a wide variety of inspection and quality control operations of a visual, dimensional, and functional nature, making necessary critical observations, tests, or completing appropriate documentation as required.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform inspections on components.\nPerform source inspections at facilities.\nPrepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.\nReview inspection records received for compliance.\nMaintain inspection and measuring equipment.\nPrepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) for nonconforming parts.\nPerform other work-related tasks as assigned. \nComply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.\nFACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES\nResponsible for programming and operation of the Coordinate Measuring machine (CMM) to perform first article, in-process and final inspection of the parts\nWrite, develop, validate, and execute CMM programs\nDevelop CMM models utilizing existing Pro-E models from Engineering\nRecommend and implement programming best practices\nMaintain CMM and work area\nInspect parts using Romer Arm / Portable CMM\nInspect part using 3-D Scanner\n\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\n\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\nMinimum 5 years of CMM experience in programming and inspection\nInterpretation of GD&T on the drawings\nPrior CMM programming experience and ability to develop part geometrical setup structures for CMM layouts\nPrior experience in programming & inspection using a Hexagon CMM or similar
