The technician will also perform facility maintenance duties, including but not limited to facility repairs, inspections, and service as required to support production needs.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment and facility systems.\nPerform adjustments and repairs as required.\nPerform preventive maintenance activities to detect early signs of failure or maladjustment.\nCommunicate effectively with operators, vendors, and other maintenance personnel to ensure machines are production-ready.\nWork from machine design drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.\nPerform other work-related tasks as assigned.\nComply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.\nFACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and CNC control system issues on machine tools.\nPerform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize machine uptime and reliability.\nMaintain and repair:FIVES Giddings & Lewis CNC machines\nMazak CNC machines\nToyoda CNC machines\nPAMA CNC machines\nParpas CNC machines\n\nTroubleshoot CNC controls, servo systems, spindle drives, motors, encoders, feedback systems, and associated automation equipment.\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.\nPerform machine alignments, calibrations, ball-bar testing, and accuracy verification as required.\nCoordinate with OEM service providers and production personnel during major repairs, upgrades, and equipment installations.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and equipment history within the CMMS system.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and operational performance.\nMaintain facility infrastructure, including:Electrical distribution systems\nLighting systems\nCompressed air systems\nBuilding structures\n\nPerform repairs and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and support systems.\nAssist with equipment relocation, rigging, installation, and facility improvement projects.\nRespond to emergency maintenance situations and production downtime events.\nObtain and maintain CICB certification as an Overhead Crane Inspector and Jib Crane Inspector (training provided by the Company).\nConduct scheduled inspections of overhead bridge cranes, jib cranes, hoists, lifting devices, and related equipment.\nParticipate in safety audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement activities.\nPromote and maintain a safe work environment through adherence to company safety policies and procedures.\nPerform other work-related tasks as required or assigned by management.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GED required.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a CNC machining or heavy manufacturing environment.\nAbility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency call-ins as needed.\nStrong working knowledge of:CNC machine tool maintenance\nFanuc, Siemens, and Mazatrol controls\nElectrical systems (480V, 240V, and control voltages)\nHydraulics and pneumatics\nMechanical power transmission systems\nBearings, gearboxes, lubrication systems, and machine geometry\nIndustrial controls and automation\n\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.\nProficiency with diagnostic tools, including multimeters, alignment equipment, and vibration analysis tools.\nWorking knowledge of CMMS software and Microsoft Office applications.\nValid driver's license and the ability to operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and other maintenance equipment, or the ability to obtain certification.\nJOB REQUIREMENTSWork in a manufacturing and machining facility environment.\nExposure to noise, coolant, oils, grease, welding operations, airborne particles, and varying temperatures.\nRequires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).\nMay require overtime, weekend, holiday, and emergency call-in support to maintain production operations.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier weights with assistance or lifting equipment.\nAbility to climb ladders, work at heights, and access confined spaces.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in industrial environments for extended periods.\nAbility to work around moving machinery, overhead cranes, and production
