(GSCM) policy.\nSupplier visits as required.\nManage Supplier Non-Conformances and Corrective Action Reports to ensure appropriate outcome is obtained for NOV.\nManage the AVL to Global SLM standards.\nSource alternate Suppliers when required.\nManage Supplier price negotiations to ensure that favourable payment terms and best soltions.\nManage the purchase of products and outsource activities and to ensure it conforms to specified requirements.\nManage Project Procurement to ensure project demands are met.\nEnsure that Purchasing KPI’s are met on a monthly basis and report back on all results.\nWarehouse Supervision\nManage all the warehouse inbound activities to ensure that goods and services are receipted on time.\nManage all the warehouse outbound activities to ensure that customers goods are shipped on time and packaged to appropriate standards.\nManage all Inventory Control activities to ensure that stock levels are accurate, expired stock are disposed appropriately and stock is preserved to NOV standards.\nReport on all Warehouse KPI’s on a monthly basis.\nQuality Assurance\nCarrying out all duties in accordance with the registered quality assurance policies /procedures /departmental works instructions/ standards.\nSafety, Sanitation, Security, Housekeeping\nMaintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.\nAssist in maintaining the security of the company.\nConduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.\nComply with OHS standards.\nObey all speed limits.\nWear all safety equipment (PPE).\nReport all deviations and defects to supervisor.\nDispose all waste correctly and on a continuous basis.\nAdhere to all safety instructions regarding clear walkways and obstructions.\nLEADERSHIP ROLES\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nPlanning - Productivity - Scheduling\nMeasures performance against goals\nPlan and control change by anticipating and adjusting\nEvaluates results.\nContribute to planning as a member of the management effective utilization of resources\nSetup controls and monitor KPI’s.\nBreak work down into process steps.\nFinance\nDevelop, setting and overviewing budgets and managing costs\nEvaluate the result of operations regularly and systematically and report these results to immediate supervisor or as delegated.\nHuman Resources and Governance\nOversee subordinates and ensure implementation of organisation’s policies.\nAddress complaints and resolve issues.\nAppraise performance, reward and discipline employees.\nInterview, hire and train employees if so required.\nDevelop and implement procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within area of responsibility.\nEnsure the execution of the organisations operating policies.\nCreate and/or control structures and processes necessary to manage the current activities within area of responsibility.\nEnsure that all the organisation’s activities and operations are carried out in compliance with the laws governing such business operations.\nEnsure the responsibilities, authorities and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.\nPunctuality\nManage punctuality, promptness and deadlines.\nSet priorities\nManage the impact on the workplace of the effects of lack of punctuality and ensure a well-functioning workplace.\nStaff Development and Team succession plan of future responsibilities, authorities and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.\nSupervise and coach direct reports.\n QUALIFICATIONS:\nNational Diploma in Purchasing Management / Logistics or related qualification.\nEXPERIENCE:\nMinimum 5-10 years in a Purchasing / Warehouse management capacity successfully managing employees.\n\nPrevious
