protected by applicable law.\n Disassemble, inspect, rebuild, assemble, and test mechanical equipment in accordance with NOV procedures and engineering requirements.\nRead and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, work instructions, and other technical documentation.\nUse engineering measuring equipment, including micrometers, Vernier gauges, and dial indicators, to verify components and assemblies.\nComplete equipment testing and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) in accordance with applicable procedures.\nMaintain accurate job documentation, including QA plans, workscopes, inspection and test reports, build sheets, and other required records.\nIdentify product defects and non-conformances, complete the appropriate documentation, and support troubleshooting and root-cause problem solving.\nRework or repair equipment and components in accordance with approved engineering specifications and changes.\nSafely operate designated workshop equipment and ensure components move correctly through the workflow and designated staging areas.\nContribute to continuous improvement activities supporting safety, quality, cost, delivery, and operational performance.\nMaintain high standards of housekeeping and actively participate in team briefings, toolbox talks, safety activities, and the NOV competency programme.\n Essential Qualifications\nA time-served apprenticeship, HNC, or equivalent relevant mechanical qualification or practical experience.\nRelevant hands-on mechanical experience gained within an industrial, manufacturing, heavy equipment, energy, aerospace, or comparable technical environment.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical instructions.\nPractical experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, Vernier gauges, and dial indicators.\nAbility to inspect, assemble, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment or components.\nStrong commitment to safe working practices, quality standards, and accurate documentation.\nAbility to work effectively as part of a workshop team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.\nPractical problem-solving capability and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with pressure equipment or hydraulic systems.\nExperience with equipment testing or Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).\nPrevious experience within oil and gas, energy equipment, heavy machinery, industrial manufacturing, or another relevant engineering environment.\nExperience with structured problem-solving or root-cause analysis techniques.\nWorking knowledge of standard computer applications used for documentation and
