This includes exceptions and clarifications to the tender specifications.\nProvide technical training and presentations to employees, distributors, and customers.\nDevelop and maintain technical information in product literature, assuring published parameters are commensurate with ongoing QC test results and manufacturing practices.\nVisit job sites to resolve technical issues with design, installation and field failures and to develop a working relationship with customers’ key technical staff. \nPrepare technical reports.\nAnalyze product issues and field incidents.\nDevelop, verify, and implement product design and manufacturing solutions to satisfy a variety of market requirements.\nParticipate “hands on” in lab and manufacturing environment.\nParticipate in product testing and qualification as per industry standards.\nDesign and draft models and drawings for the machine shop, providing technical support as needed. \nOther duties as assigned.\nKNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE\n3 to 5 years of experience related to oil field and/or piping & pipelines. \nRelevant experience with nonmetallic/composite materials and piping.\nPossess technical aptitude and ability to understand engineering, design and product performance issues. \nAbility to solve practical problems.\nAdequate verbal, written and analytical skills with a professional and helpful demeanor.\nComputer literacy using Microsoft Office Suite, MathCad, Autodesk Inventor/Solid Works or similar modelling software.\nAvailable for overnight & international travel\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nWorking conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires local travel.
